We Are Available When You Need Us
We are a locally-owned and operated full-service walk-in clinic that is ready to serve almost any situation that a doctor could treat. With rapid COVID-testing, on-site X-rays, and more, you can count on us to treat you with any major insurance plan or no insurance at all.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a visit?
Visits to our Urgent Care depend on the copay/deductible amount on your insurance plan. Typically the copay would be under Urgent Care on your insurance card. Our administrative staff can also help you determine your copay/deductibles. We also offer cash pay visits for those patients who do not have any insurance.
Do I have to make an appointment?
How long will I have to wait to be seen?
Wait times at most Emergency Rooms are around 3-4 hours, given the extensive things the ER doctors are treating, such as car accidents, heart attacks, stroke, or head trauma. We urge patients to avoid the emergency room unless their injury or illness warrants an ER visit.
Does UCDE X-ray on site?
Yes, Urgent Care Down East can do X-rays on-site. X-rays can be done on anyone over the age of 7 in this clinic.
Do you treat children?
Yes, we do treat children over the age of two. Children under the age of two must go to their Pediatrician or the ER.
Who do I speak to if I have a question about my bill?
Here at UCDE, the entire administration takes pride in helping out our patients with anything they need, which includes helping you with your billing questions. If a more in-depth look needs to be taken into your bill, we will consult the billing manager to help you find your answer.
Do you do COVID testing?
Whether you’re traveling, been exposed, or are symptomatic we have the right COVID test for you. We offer rapid antigen testing and rapid PCR Testing.
